I had the pleasure of working with Jerome during his time as Head of Product Design at Fluent Commerce. He stands out as a rare UX/design leader who seamlessly combines visionary thought leadership with exceptional people skills.
At Fluent Commerce, Jerome was instrumental in embedding Design Thinking into our Product Development process. His problem-solving mindset ensured that no product discovery phase was complete without rigorous user research and a well-integrated feedback loop. One of Jerome's standout achievements was the rethinking and consolidation of our design assets and systems, which he led with sheer perseverance, effective cross-team collaboration, and a deep commitment to design thinking advocacy. His mentorship of junior team members was equally commendable, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
Jerome leadership will be a tremendous asset to any product-driven company focused on achieving sustained growth through design and product excellence. -
I had the pleasure of joining Jerome's team at Fluent Commerce and creating a cultural shift towards more user-centered and collaborative ways of working. Jerome excelled at guiding teams through strategic processes, fostering creativity in product discovery, and encouraging open communication. His ability to inspire and lead was key to our success, both individual and organisational growth. I highly recommend Jerome for any role requiring strong design/product leadership and innovation.
-
Jerome was an absolute pleasure to work with and his vision and enthusiasm will be sorely missed in the company. He is a great thought leader and always encouraged people to challenge the status quo. His design leadership steered the company towards a unification of brand and identity and led to a much greater awareness among the engineering team and their role within the design journey. Under Jerome's guidance the engineering teams were empowered to make decisions and provide constructive feedback to both design and product teams. All in all I would relish the opportunity to work with Jerome again in the future.
-
I had the privilege of working with Jerome on several key projects, including Fluent Learning Updates 2024, Design System Update, Customer Journey Mapping, and Customer Feedback. As the Head of Product Design, Jerome was not only an expert in his field but also an incredible mentor and collaborator. His compassion, empathy, and unique sense of humour made him a joy to work with, and a trustworthy and reliable colleague.
Jerome’s approach to projects was methodical and insightful. He always began by mapping out the current state of affairs, then skillfully dissecting each aspect to identify and understand the problems we were trying to solve. His project briefs were comprehensive and incredibly detailed, reflecting his dedication to getting things right from the start. When offering design advice, he was always constructive and approachable, never overly critical, but clear in his explanations and suggestions.
One of Jerome’s standout contributions to my career was introducing me to the concept of Design Thinking. This exposure has been instrumental in shaping how I approach business problems, allowing me to always consider the customer or end-user experience in every decision. This skill has given me an edge as a Business Operations Specialist, and I owe much of that to Jerome’s guidance.
Beyond his technical expertise, Jerome was a true leader and mentor to his team, treating them like family, and he extended that same mentorship to others outside his direct reports - including myself. His core focus on the end-user experience was evident in everything he did, and it’s a value that he instilled in those around him.
Jerome would be an invaluable asset to any team, and I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, empathetic, and customer-focused Design Leader. -
I have worked with Jerome in his role as head of User Experience for several years at eBay in my role leading all of engineering for eBay Australia. We collaborated constantly, Jerome brought a highly passionate and unique customer focused perspective to the table to every conversation. He is not only creative, but highly driven and dedicated. His thoughts and ideas are game changers. Jerome inspires and creates the environment & foundation for others to get a platform for their own game changing ideas.
Jerome goes beyond his role, bringing to life a culture of fun through both innovation, inspiration as well as a personal touch when dealing with those around him. He is a great choice for any team that wishes to display their values, promote a healthy fun place to work and take their business to a level they haven’t even thought of.

I had the pleasure of working with Jerome for 18 months in the eBay AU UX team. I was always impressed by Jerome’s energy and desire to push boundaries and deliver innovative solutions to business problems. I was also fortunate to witness Jerome champion design thinking at eBay AU, raising awareness, educating and changing the perception of its value across the organisation.
Jerome’s strength also lies in how much he values people and culture. He was instrumental in establishing serval key social initiatives that helped foster a fun and collaborative workplace environment. He is extremely approachable and was looked up to as a mentor by junior staff.
His enthusiasm and passion naturally motivates and inspires the people around him, Jerome is an amazing asset to any business.

Jerome led the customer empathy and design thinking programs at eBay to drive product and service innovation.
He initiated and drove regular eBay companywide hackathons to galvanise cross functional teams around customer centric design and agile thinking. Jerome was both a respected thought leader within the eBay Product Team as well as a popular member of the broader eBay Australia family.
In addition to driving key product initiatives Jerome also initiated and led a number of popular eBay social activities, further cementing his reputation as an individual with tremendous energy and enthusiasm across the board
